World of Tanks O-I - 6 Kills 4,8K Damage

The O-I is a Japanese tier 6 heavy tank.

Development of the superheavy tank was started after the Battles of Khalkhyn Gol in 1939. The vehicle was designed as a maneuverable fire unit that was unprecedented in scale—its hull alone weighed 100 tons. Only one prototype was built, without a turret and made of construction steel. Trials were discontinued due to the unreliable engine; at the end of 1944, the prototype was scrapped. The 15 cm howitzer was to be mounted on the tank after its assembly.

Also known as Derp Demon or Emperor of Derp. The O-I were basically KV-2 on steroids. Not only carrying the most powerful gun of its tier, the O-I also sporting some of the toughest protection in tier 6, it can withstand even higher tiers with its thick armor. it had two gun choices; a powerful 10cm AP gun with high penetration, and a trademark 15cm "derp gun" with insane alpha damage.

However, like every Japanese heavy tank after tier 4, it is huge and massive (even larger than most of tier 10s) as well as quite slow, and will usually become the primary target of SPGs and flankers.

The O-I leads to the O-Ni.

World of Tanks AMX 50 B - 7 Kills 10,2K Damage

The AMX 50 B is a French tier 10 heavy tank.

Developed starting in 1951 by DEFA, the state weapons design bureau. By 1958, the AMX 50 B received a number of improvements, including a low-profile cast hull and torsion-bar suspension. A new oscillating turret with a 120-mm gun was also mounted on the vehicle. Despite the fact that the Maybach engine power provided just 1,000 h.p., specialists from the German Gruppe M company were looking for a solution that would allow the vehicle to reach a speed of up to 65 km/h. Only one finished prototype of this variant was built.

The AMX 50 B is the final evolution of the French autoloader heavy line. It's very similar to its predecessor, the AMX 50 120, and is essentially a souped-up version of it. Namely, it is more maneuverable and faster than the 50 120, mainly due to a big boost in horsepower. The AMX 50 B also has enhanced hull armor positioned at an extreme angle that is much more capable of bouncing shots. Although the 120mm cannon carries over from the 50 120, it has been significantly improved in reload speed, aiming time, time between shots, and gun elevation angles. Furthermore, the AMX 50B has overcome the easily-damaged ammo rack that plagued the AMX 50 120.

The AMX 50 B marks the end of its French heavy line.

World of Tanks T29 - 5 Kills 5,9K Damage

The T29 is an American tier 7 heavy tank.

Development of this experimental heavy tank started in 1944. The prototype was built in 1947. The vehicle featured the 105 mm T5E1 gun. After the war, the mass production of heavy tanks was deemed unreasonable, and only a few prototypes of this vehicle were built.

Generally considered one of the best tanks of its tier, if not downright overpowered, the T29 is a solid combination of firepower, armor and mobility. Stock, it comes with the inefficient 76 mm M1A2 gun, but can immediately equip the powerful 90 mm M3 gun if it was researched previously from the M6, which will prove sufficient against most opponents it faces while the tank advances down the upgrade path. The 105 mm gun that you are able to mount later is very powerful and lethal, as it can penetrate almost any tank in its tier and still can penetrate some higher tier tanks and can pack quite a punch. The most notable feature of the T29 is its large and extremely well-armored turret, strong enough to bounce shots even from tier 9 tanks if faced frontally and with good angling. For this reason, the T29 performs exeptionally well when placed in a hull-down position. The frontal hull armor of the T29 is also quite robust if angled properly.

World of Tanks Tiger I - 2 Kills 5K Damage

The Tiger I is a German tier 7 heavy tank.

Development of the Tiger I was started in 1937 by the Henschel company. Mass production began in 1942, with an eventual total of 1,354 vehicles manufactured. The tank first saw combat in the fighting for Leningrad, and Tigers were at the forefront of battles from Tunisia to Kursk. Although production was discontinued in the summer of 1944, the Tiger I continued to see action until the end of the war.

This was the first German heavy tank in WWII and proved itself to be extremely formidable against the Allied forces, composed primarily of M4 Shermans and T-34s. In the game you'll face much higher tier opponents. This tank was designed as a medium to long range sniper. Keep that in mind and make use of its great rate of fire and renowned German-engineered accuracy. Spot your enemy, avoid close combat, and keep your gun at work by firing the moment you reload. Snipe the enemy and support your team.

World of Tanks AMX M4 mle. 45 - 5 Kills 5,7K Damage

The AMX M4 mle. 45 is a French tier 7 heavy tank.

Development of this heavy tank started in 1945. The vehicle incorporated several design features of the Pz.Kpfw. VI Ausf. B Tiger II tank. The vehicle existed only in blueprints. Later the AMX M4 (1945) became a prototype for the AMX 50 100.

The AMX M4 45 can be considered an evolution of its predecessor play-style. It uses the same guns as the ARL 44, which are less outstanding for its tier, but with improved rate of fire, accuracy, and aim time. Although the M4 45 sports better track protection, its overall armor is weaker than the ARL 44's, and very poor for its tier. However, it receives fairly good mobility for a heavy tank in exchange, and is fairly effective in a supporting role, setting the pattern for future French heavy tanks.

The AMX M4 mle. 45 leads to the AMX 50 100, and the AMX 65 t.

World of Tanks FV215b (183) - 6 Kills 9,8K Damage

The FV215b (183) is a British tier 10 premium turreted tank destroyer.

Project for a heavy SPG based on the Conqueror Mk II tank with a 183 mm gun and rear placement of the traversable turret and fighting compartment. The vehicle was designed to counter Soviet heavy tanks at long range (up to 1,829 m) and should have been able to withstand return fire from 122 mm guns at a distance of up to 500 m. After the development of 193 mm Malkara anti-tank rockets—which were a cheaper and more efficient choice for countering the IS-series tanks—the vehicle lost its relevance. The project was canceled shortly after a dummy vehicle was built.

Assault tank based on the Conqueror chassis with a 183mm gun mounted on it. The project was cancelled in the 1950s and it never saw military service.

Known as the "(The Second) Death Star", this tank destroyer is well-known for its apocalyptic gun. Especially when loaded with premium shells, this monster is a death sentence to any tank and you must avoid frontal combat with this tank at all costs unless it's reloading.

As a downside, the FV215b (183) can only turn its turret 45 degrees either direction. The gun has a horrific load time and low ammo capacity, comparable to SPGs, and is not very accurate. So as long as you can outmaneuver its gun range you will be able to destroy it.

The FV215b (183) was replaced by the FV217 Badger turretless tank destroyer and became a special vehicle for those who had it before the replacement.

World of Tanks Tortoise - 6 Kills 9,5K Damage

The Tortoise is a British tier 9 tank destroyer.

The development of this assault tank began in Great Britain in 1942. The design was finalized by February 1944, and an order was placed for 25 vehicles. However, by the fall of 1947 only five tanks had been manufactured.

The A39 Tortoise is the heaviest and last of the slow and heavily armored "AT" tank destroyers in the British line. It's a great leap forward from its predecessor, the AT 15, mainly due to its extremely accurate, fast-firing, and powerful 120mm cannon. and greater protection that even rivaling several tier 10 tanks.

The Tortoise, just likes its name. it is extremely tough. it has a very large hitpoint pool. and very tough overall armor that, combined with the 120mm gun (which had second highest DPM in the game), makes this tank became one of the strongest opponent to face in tier 9 or even tier 10 match. But, also just likes its name. the overall slow speed can make this tank vulnerable from encircling by agile opponents.

Compared to its tier 10 counterpart; The FV217 Badger. It has more raw armor values than the Badger which provides more decent protection from HE shots and SPGs than the Badger, although its speed is fairly slower than its counterpart.

Overall, the Tortoise is one of the only few tier 9 tanks that were regarded as a "Tier 9.5" due to its top stats. with proper use of its rapid-firing gun and well-rounded armor, it can easily prove its worth and striking fear into anyone who dares to oppose it.

The Tortoise leads to the FV217 Badger.

World of Tanks KV-1 - 9 Kills 3,9K Damage

The KV-1 is a Soviet tier 5 heavy tank.

Development started at the end of 1938. A prototype was produced in August 1939. The vehicle first saw combat in December 1939 at the Mannerheim Line. The tank was mass-produced from March 1940 through August 1942, with a total of 2,769 vehicles manufactured.

Most novice players will find the KV-1's playing style significantly different from what they are used to, having just come out of the T-28 medium tank. At stock, armed with the adequate 76mm ZiS-5, it is very slow, and certainly not agile. Consider mounting the 57mm 413 if you enjoy a fast fire rate with decent penetration. The KV-1 with the 122mm U-11 gun firing HE shells can be a surprisingly fun tank to play, but don't expect to be doing much when you get thrown in with the big boys battles.

It's one of the tanks new players should definitely learn to kill as the same weak spots are shared with other tanks in the KV family. Frontal weak-spots include the flat plate directly below the turret and the lower plate below the heavily sloped mid section, and shots to the side and rear will penetrate the flat 60mm armoring fairly consistently.

This tank used to be combined with the KV-2 in the removed KV tank.

The KV-1 leads to the T-150, the KV-2, and the KV-1S.
